She earned her Master’s Degree in Public Health from Boston University and worked in clinical and research laboratories for 30 years. Her desire to help people find true health through natural and holistic means led her to Halotherapy.

Dr. Cindy Hollenbeck is founder of the World Halotherapy Association, which assists in the appropriate practice of halotherapy to affect the utmost safety and highest standards in the application of treatment. WHA trains, educates and supports halotherapy facilities in a deeper understanding of the disease state, helps ensure equipment performs properly, and aids in the successful execution of business operations. Dr. Hollenbeck has an extensive clinical and research background in the fields of respiratory, cardiovascular and neurology. She was a scientific, research and speaker liaison for national and regional respiratory specialists. She also served as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) responsible for working with physicians regarding the patho-physiology and etiology of the respiratory system.
